Are there fees for late registration?

Yes. Those registering after the early registration deadline pay an increased fee, please reference the registration application for the current fees. We've been asked why we have a late fee if you are providing your own food. Simply, we make commitments on various equipment, supplies, etc., that we still have time to adjust before the cutoff date. Afterwards it costs us (sometimes significantly) to alter these in time for the event to accommodate extra campers.

Why is Ranger Kid Day more expensive if my Ranger Kids camp the entire time?

The fee for Ranger Kids who camp the entire event is more than other campers as they have access to all of the events regular campers do, plus the specific events for Ranger Kids Day. Usually Ranger Kids Day has costs involved in crafts and other materials as well.

If the weather is bad or it rains, will I receive a refund?

We do not issue refunds. If the weather is inclement but does not warrant ending the event early, there would be no change. If the weather was bad enough to cause the event to end early, at our discretion we may optionally offer a day camp at a later date or some other alternative. This has only happened once in almost 50 years.

Why can I not make last-minute changes on my registration online?

Unfortunately the camp is not in the middle of civilization and internet service is poor. Once the registration deadline is passed, the data from the site is downloaded for use on site; anyone making changes after that would not get imported into our on-site registration system.
