Junior Training Academy

Camp Wilderness Junior Training Academy (CWJTA) is a four day, three night camp providing a fun filled and adventurous environment for young men to come together from many different outposts. They practice working together to fine-tune leadership skills along with learning new and relevant life skills related to the camp they engage in.

The camps promote teamwork and shift attitudes from inward caring (selfishness) to outward awareness (servant hood).

This year we will be offering the following Winter Training Camps: RTC, RTC-2, JTC, and SAC.

• Ranger Training Camps - RTC is a district training event designed to help prepare 4th - 6th grade boys for leadership in the local outpost.
• Ranger Training Camps 2- RTC-2 is a district training event designed to help prepare 5th - 6th grade boys for leadership in the local outpost and explores shooting sports. (Must have completed RTC)
• Junior Training Camp - JTC is a district training event for boys who have completed 6th grade.
• Survival Action Camp - SAC is designed to give training and experience for survival in the backcountry. (Must have completed JTC)
